The glitz and glamor of the beginning of every new year is always so fun-from the Golden Globes to the Grammy’s, to the Indie Spirit Awards to the Queen of them all…the Oscars! As the Oscars approach, we took a look back at this awards season and wanted to share some of our fave, exciting fashions from the ladies whose style we love to swoon over. After all, ‘who are you wearing’ is sometimes more fun to hear about than the actual show!

We don’t just covet designer fashions, however … we add jewelry into the mix! A look is never complete without accessories, and a big night out is especially amiss without a little (or a lot!) of sparkles. In honor of Chloe + Isabel heading to Los Angeles today so start setting up our Academy Awards gifting suite, here’s some looks from this awards season that we would add a little something of ours to!

Kristen Wiig and Paula Patton need…. necklaces!

A strapless neckline in a solid color is the perfect backdrop for going all-out with a necklace that makes an impact. Funny girl Kristen‘s gown fits her to a T — but with her non-stylized, loose hair and minimal makeup she just isn’t standing out among the tough competition on the red carpet. We love the gold bangles she layered on to match her peep toe heels but the finishing touch is missing…a layered gold necklace! Drama queen Paula‘s oh so bright, Chloe-colored dress is fierce, especially with those dark nails. The gorgeous earrings make this look almost flawless but what about adding some simple sparkle to her décolletage?!

Kaley Cuoco and Taylor Swift need…. bracelets!

When your gown is as elaborate and embellished as these stunners worn by Kaley and Tay-tay, you can’t go overboard on accessories, but you’ve got to add a little something sparkly! A bracelet is always a safe bet. We think TV star Kaley’s style would look great with some edgy bling to contrast the sweet texture of her dress — like our Rhinestone + Chain Bracelet, just featured in Glamour Magazine! And for our have crooner Taylor? Something stunning yet not over-the-top like our Modern Deco Stone Bangle - a perfect match for her gold drop earrings.

Michelle Williams and Shailene Woodley need…. earrings!

We absolutely adore starlet Michelle! Her Twiggy-inspired pixie-cut hair is the perfection. What better way to shine than with our classic cz studs. Up-and-comer Shailene is primed and ready to take over the fashion world. Her magenta lip and top knot are on point but where oh where are her accessories? A bun like this was made for fringe earrings! A romantic deco pair would definitely compliment this gown.
