Instagram Inspiration: Rings

May 25, 2012

Instagram is a great source for on-the-go and always-inspiring images — especially of amazing fashion, art and accessories! Our Merchandisers are becoming quite the Instagram stars, and we love following them to see their unique take on how to style the latest Chloe + Isabel jewels.

This week’s spotlight? Rings and more rings!

Our NYC brand team loves styling it up (daily)…all rings can be found here!

Renee, instagram name @nainicole, shines bright and says peace out in our Oversized Smooth Metal Ring.

Jordan, aka @lablondevie, makes the most of our Stackable Rings and pairs it with the adorable new Birds Nest Ring for an understated layering effect.

Lisa, known as @lisafashionista, pairs our Coral Stone Ring with the hot commodity (sold-out) Two-finger Stick Ring for summertime glitz.

Danielle, known as @danijean89, wears the new Coral Stone Ring but pairs with our popular Pave Snake Ring…and can’t forget about those matching nails of course.

Mallorie, aka @malsybaby, keeps it classic with an edge in her foto frame (a great way to profile your complete look) as she pairs all three Pave Link Stack Rings together for a bit of daytime glam.

Last but definitely not least, we had to share this over-the-top, ab-fab snapshot from Lauren aka @laurenrobshaw, who went all-out and piled on just about every novelty ring style we make. Love it!!

Inspired by Instagram: Arm Party Style

May 18, 2012

Instagram is a great source for on-the-go and always-inspiring images, especially of amazing fashion and accessories! Our Merchandisers are Instagram stars, and we love following them to see their unique take on styling their Chloe + Isabel jewels.

Here are some recent snaps we just had to share — it’s all about summer arm party styles this week!

Simply stunning

From left: Lisa Lieberman, or @lisafashionista, keeps it classic in gold links (the Organic Bangle Set and Link Toggle Bracelet) and green jeans. Another Lisa, also known as @woodenrabbit, goes simple but sparkly with our sold-out Crystal Wrap and Deconstructed Stone + Thread Bracelet. Merchandiser Jensine Martinez (@simplyorijenal) also wore the organic gold metals, and paired them with a matching glam gold watch.

Metallic magic

(Left): Jensine amps up her arm party here for a concert, using the Crystal Studded Ribbon Wrap for sparkle alongside the Pave Link Stretch Bracelet. Marisa Giraudo AKA @mgiraudo makes a statement rocking the Rhinestone + Chain Link Bracelet with our Pave Bangle Set. We love how Renee Wadsworth matched the pop of color in her Turquoise Cocktail Ring to her Pyramid Leather Wrap — a fabulous contrast with the hot pink pants!

Bracelet beauty

Emily Cleary, @emilycleary10, is always posting her arm parties! Whether they are bold +beaded, silver spikes, or mixed textures, she always makes C+I jewels work together perfectly. We love it!

Fun Instagram DIYs

May 16, 2012

We’ve talked a lot about how much we love Instagram, and how our Merchandisers can use it to their advantage as a great tool when it comes to promoting their online boutiques and making money! Here are some ideas we love for bringing your fave images out of the cell phone and into a piece of art you will cherish forever:

Instagram Photobooth Strips

We love photobooths, and always make a habit of stopping in whenever we see one. That’s why we loved this DIY idea from The College Prepster. This easy Photoshop tutorial allows you to have your Instagrams printed out as if they came straight out of an old-timey photobooth. Go to The College Prepster now for the instructions, and have fun with it!

Print out a poster!

Another site we love is Printstagr.am. On Prinstagram you can order your Instagram photos printed out in more fun ways than you can imagine, from posters, mini photo albums, or even stickers. If the price is too steep, you can always use the site just for inspiration, and use your own home printer to try to replicate their ideas!

The adorable Tinybook!

CD Sleeve Wall Collage

A last DIY idea we found comes from Hello Giggles blogger Scarlett, who came up with printing out Instagram pictures the size of clear CD sleeves and taping them to your wall. We love!

What other ways have you guys brought your favorite Instagram pics out from beyond the phone or computer and into reality? Let us know! We love the idea of keeping these pictures for life — after all, they were such great moments, why not let them live on?
