We were excited to meet new member of our Merchandiser team Sherria Cotton last week. NYC-based Sherria is very social media-savvy. She and her partner run a consulting/styling company called A*cute and she also has her personal C + I Tumblr, Trunk Show Jewels. Her online presence will no doubt help boost her sales and spread word of her upcoming trunk shows! Here’s Sherria at our headquarters looking great in an adorb bird print blouse + our Double Teardrop Necklace:

Emily Cleary is a fashion-obsessed senior at the University of Illinois, studying news-editorial journalism. She keeps busy working part-time selling Chloe + Isabel, as well as serving as President of Her Campus Illinois. Emily hopes after graduation to pursue a career in magazine journalism, PR, marketing, event planning or social media — hopefully with a focus on fashion!
Emily hasn’t been a C + I Merchandiser for long, but has already had some great trunk shows and sales. Emily embraces her available social media platforms, allowing her to advertise her e-boutique almost effortlessly! We are most impressed with her use of photo-sharing iPhone app Instagram. Instagram allows you to snap and edit beautiful photos, so by simply posting the picture to her Facebook boutique or Twitter account, Emily lets the beautiful jewelry speak for itself.
Here are some of our favorite recent pictures Emily has posted featuring Chloe + Isabel. Make sure to comment with your Instagram username (if you have one) so we can follow you! And check out Emily’s blog, The Studded Chameleon, to find out more about this social style star! XO

We have a confession: we are hopelessly addicted to Pinterest! The new internet craze sweeping the nation has all us pinned!
Below, we share some of our favorite Pinterest members you should follow. Make sure you’re following us, too! We love feedback, so let us know if you’d like us to create a specific board. We heart our peeps, so link to your own Pinterest in the comments so we can return the love.
Refinery29: One of our favorites when it comes to beauty looks and nail art! This fashion and beauty website is always the first to report on new trends, and has tons of amazing street style slideshows. It makes perfect sense that their Pinterest would be just as fashionable. Also, they feature a “Reserve Deals” board, for exclusive shopping bargains on fashions featured on their website (with prices attached!). Our top board pick? Their street style board. It doesn’t have a TON of pins yet, but it is definitely the beginning to a very beautiful thing!
Camille Styles: Camille is a perfect pinner to follow for any of our Merchandisers looking for fresh inspiration when throwing their trunk shows. Her boards are all about parties, events, and to-die-for table settings. Her “From CamilleStyles.com” board highlights the best from her fantastic website, making it even easier to read which stories really interest you. She has a board for almost every holiday, so if you’re planning anything from a romantic Valentine’s date to a Halloween party to Thanksgiving dinner you definitely have to visit Camille’s page first! She has boards based on travel, fashion, colors, and living spaces as well, but the party and entertaining boards are our must-sees.Jessica Cocoluca: Jessica, an artist and designer, is all about pinning color, color, and MORE color! One of the first-ever color bloggers (under the name Design Seeds) Jessica sees color in a way many people don’t — and the results are absolutely breathtaking, not to mention ideal for a platform such as Pinterest. Not only are there beautifully organized and inspiring colors like green and blue and sulfur, but there are creature colors, vintage colors, crafted colors…. the list goes on and on! Jessica’s whopping 43 boards also include designs and graphics as well as colors. This pinner is one you absolutely must check out for yourself, even if you don’t use Pinterest! Chantel Waterbury: Chloe + Isabel’s CEO and Founder Chantel is also in on the trend! She shares her inspiration for C + I and mood boards, as well as sneak peeks of our jewels. One board is all about her favorite C + I collection, Organic Metals. Our favorites definitely have to include the romantic, flower-filled Parisian dream board “My Perfect Valentine,” which we even made into a mood board of our own for Valentine’s Day! Besides that, her travel, interior, style, and beauty boards are all amazing as well.
